Individual, although for a group to be successful it needs committed unselfish individuals....
To assist in making your cycling training and riding more enjoyable, social and rewarding I have decided
to start a Cycling Club so that there is an emphasis on friendly fun in the sun .
The intention of the Club is to make getting out and riding with like minded people easy, regardless of your level
we will cater for you. Beginners, Week End Warriors and Almost Pro's .
This
website will display a calendar that covers, Social, Organised (Bupa Events for example) Club Gatherings and other performance
enhancing activities.
I will act as the clubs chairman and secretary tasked
with finding events of interest, design rides that take member to new geographical areas and mix up the riding schedule.
Rider categories will be established within the Club to ensure that everyone feels like
they belong, this process will be designed to ensure that all members enjoy sociable and productive rides and après
activities.
Mindful of the importance of family involvement we will also
ensure that our starting and finishing points for rides are located at family friendly locations which could provide gathering
facilities, meals and beverage services.
It is our intention to surf the
net and find events we could go to as a group , participating under the banner of cycle4leukaemia .
I envisage that as we grow - travel and logistical requirements can be managed by the club on behalf
of the membership to make getting to venues easy and simple.
